Free Pattern Friday - Starched Masks for Halloween
Halloween costumes don't have to be costly or generic when you can make your own. These starched masks are easily made with fabric and the help of a balloon. Decorate to your hearts content and make something that will make you or your kids stand out from the crowd this Halloween. Originally published in the October 1966 issue of Pack-O-Fun magazine. Back before teaching eliminated fun, I used to help the art teacher make masks like this with my students. They loved it. Now it's not on THE TEST so no more fun. Thanks for introducing a new generation or two to this wonderful project.
